One of the first youtubers I came across who also had a disability is Molly Burke. She makes fun loving content and also brings awareness about RP, the disease she has. Now, what is RP?

Biology

RP is a genetic disorder that causes a loss of cells in the retina. Retina has two types of cells: Rods & Cones. Rods are situated around the retina and help in night as well as peripheral vision. The cones are located in the center and are responsible in seeing light. People with RP loose their rods and then their cones.

Affect

RP is a progressive disease that initially causes a decreased night vision and a loss of peripheral vision. It results in blindness.
