As I meet more people, I get more aware about the various problems people are facing and the diseases which cause them. One such person who Ive met through instagram is Rifa. She owns a successful food page with delicious content. At the first glance, you cant tell that she has been fighting with Dysgraphia. At first, this was totally unknown to me but, with some research I am able to share the knowledge that I’ve gained.

BIOLOGY

Dysgraphia is a learning disability that is pretty uncommon and affects 4% of children in the world. It is a neurological disorder that is thought to be caused by damage in parietal lobe of the brain. Research is still going on to pinpoint the cause.

AFFECT

  • Awkward or painful grip

  • Trouble in drafting a piece of writing

  • Trouble speaking

  • Problem with motor skills

The difficulties that people go through are not at all obvious. So, always be kind.

THANK YOU.
